Claims
If someone is hurt, or there is fire or gas, call 911 first.
Then report the loss to your carrier's first-notice number - it is on your ID card, and reporting it directly to them starts the clock fastest. IronKey does not adjust or pay claims. What we do is make sure yours is not dropped: we take the facts, open an activity on your file, notify a licensed person, and follow it.
What to have ready
- Policy number, if you have it
- Date, time, and place of the loss
- One sentence on what happened
- Whether anyone was injured
- Photos, if it is safe to take them
- A police or fire report number, if one was made
After hours
Our line answers at any hour. The assistant takes the facts of the loss, writes them to your file, and gives you the carrier's first-notice number. It does not tell you whether something is covered - it is not licensed to, and neither is any software. A licensed producer picks it up the same or next business morning.
What we will never tell you on this call
Whether your claim will be paid. Only the carrier's adjuster decides that, after they investigate. Anyone who tells you otherwise before that happens is guessing with your money.
Insurance offered through licensed agents. IronKey Care is an independent insurance agency, not an insurer. Availability and eligibility vary by state.
Calls are recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and errors-and-omissions purposes, with consent language matched to your state's recording statute.
