Carrier ratings

A.M. Best ratings and financial size categories belong to the insurance carrier, not to IronKey. IronKey does not carry a financial strength rating and does not pay claims.

How we rank options

IronKey does not claim to be the cheapest. Options are ranked by total cost of risk - premium plus the deductible you would carry plus the expected cost of what the form leaves out. The arithmetic is shown on every option.

Indications

Options marked 'indication' are produced by IronKey's rating model, not by a carrier system. A licensed producer confirms premium and eligibility with the market before any policy is bound. An indication is not an offer of insurance.

Compensation

IronKey is compensated by commission paid by the insurer, and may earn contingent or bonus compensation based on the volume, retention, or profitability of business placed. Where IronKey charges a separate agency or placement fee, it is itemized before you pay. IronKey's recommendation is documented with the reason it was made; producers are not compensated for steering to the highest-commission market.

Consumer reports and insurance scores

IronKey may use a consumer report, including an insurance score, to develop your quote. If information in that report causes an adverse decision, you will receive an adverse-action notice naming the reporting agency and your right to a free copy and to dispute it.

Calls and texts

By providing a phone number you agree that IronKey and its licensed producers may contact you at that number about your quote, including by autodialed call or text. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

Automated assistant

You are speaking with IronKey's automated assistant. It is not a licensed insurance producer. It can take your information, send you documents and payment links, and connect you to a licensed producer. It does not give advice about which coverage to buy and cannot bind coverage.
